Economic Competitiveness for Airlines
The current light-handed economic regulation of Australian airports is not delivering the best outcome for consumers, as airfares must increase to incorporate ever-increasing costs of airport infrastructure, alongside a wave of additional increased operating costs. A more balanced approach with a pragmatic framework to commercial negotiations would enable BARA members to continue to grow services to Australia and provide more competition and choice for customers.
